By using our website or engaging our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Scope of Services
Art Capture Studios provides archival-standard artwork reproduction through a network of specialist photographers and studios across the United Kingdom. Work is carried out to a professional standard tailored to the needs of artists, galleries, cultural institutions, and related clients.
Specific project terms, including pricing, schedules and deliverables, may be set out separately in estimates, quotations or commissioning agreements. In the event of a conflict, the specific project terms shall prevail.
3. Artwork Handling, Insurance & Liability
Art Capture Studios treats the artworks that we handle as valuable and irreplaceable. For all commissioned projects we provide insurance to cover artworks during transportation, handling and photography.
Insurance cover is arranged on a project-by-project basis, subject to artwork value and client requirements. Art Capture Studios will provide a custom quotation for insurance cover which outlines the scope, limits and exclusions applicable.
Art Capture Studios will accept liability for loss, damage or deterioration only within the parameters of the agreed insurance cover. Clients are responsible for notifying us of any special handling requirements prior to commencement of the project.
4. Intellectual Property & Usage Rights
4.1 Copyright of the Website
All content contained on this website — including text, design, graphics, logos, images, and underlying code — is copyright of Art Capture Studios unless otherwise stated. All rights reserved.
No website content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, transmitted, or adapted without written permission.
4.2 Copyright in Commissioned Photography
For all commissioned photography projects, Art Capture Studios assigns full copyright in perpetuity to the client upon delivery of the final assets and full payment of the agreed project fees.
There are no additional licensing fees, no usage restrictions, and no limitations on medium, territory, or duration.
4.3 Use of Client Artwork Images
Art Capture Studios will not publish, reuse, license, distribute or display images of client artworks for marketing, promotional or any other purposes without the client’s consent.
5. Client Data & Privacy
5.1 Data Collection
We may collect limited personal information directly from clients for the sole purpose of providing quotes, managing projects, delivering work, and issuing invoices.
5.2 Data Usage
Client data is:
Never shared externally
Never sold
5.3 Data Security
We take all reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss.
5.4 Data Retention
Client data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or to comply with legal obligations (e.g., accounting requirements).

6. Contractors
Art Capture Studios represents a network of independent specialist photographers and studios. Work may be fulfilled by these professionals on our behalf.
We remain the primary point of contact for the client, and manage the contractor throughout the project scope, however, Art Capture Studios is not responsible for third-party external policies or practices beyond the scope of our contractual arrangements.

Our website may contain links to external websites. We do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for any external sites, content, or policies.
8. Fees, Payment & Cancellation
Fees for commissioned Services will be outlined in quotations or project agreements. Payment terms may include deposits, staged payments, or final balances due on delivery.
Cancellation by the client may incur fees for work already undertaken or expenses incurred.
9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The website and Services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Art Capture Studios shall not be liable for:
Indirect or consequential losses
Loss of profit, data, or business
Damages related to delays, errors, or interruptions of service
Our total liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the total value of the insurance cover arranged for that specific commission, or, if no insurance was agreed, the total fees paid by the client for that commission.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website or Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
